What is the Kentucky Coroner's Association?

The Kentucky Coroners Association is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to support the coroners of Kentucky through education and training, provide resources to assist in death investigations, develop strategies to prevent loss of life, and render support to each county coroner when requested to aid in the timely resolution of death investigators.

Objectives of the Association

I
To form and perpetuate an efficient organization of the Coroners of Kentucky, their deputies, former coroners and deputy coroners, and citizens charged with or interested in the implementation and enforcement of State law pertaining to death investigation.
II
To provide for the prompt exchange of information pertaining to the duties, methods, and official practice of Coroners.
III
To cooperate with peace officers throughout Kentucky and with similar organizations in other states.
IV
To exert such influence as may be necessary to initiate and preserve legislation in harmony with the need of enforcement officials and the safety and welfare of the public.
V
To alter or amend any of the foregoing objectives whenever necessary to make them consistent with the powers, duties, and policies of the membership.
