001C-26J CORONERS – BASIC TRAINING – 40 Hours

This training program provides information on the roles and responsibilities of the coroner or deputy coroner and techniques for death scene investigations. It is designed to provide legal and investigative fundamentals for the coroner as well as familiarize the coroner with resources that may be used in the course of their responsibilities. Mandatory training will be a part of this course including bloodborne pathogens, pediatric head trauma, and notification of death to next-of-kin.
