Yesterday, members of the Kentucky Coroner’s Association had the opportunity to learn from one of the nation’s leading experts in fire investigation—Steve Riggs, IAAI-CFI, CFEI, CVFI, CFII.
Steve, a retired Oklahoma law enforcement and fire service professional with over 40 years of fire scene experience, led an in-depth course on Fire Death Investigations. His expertise in fire cause determination, arson investigation, and evidence processing provided invaluable insight to our coroners and deputy coroners from across the Commonwealth.
Steve’s reputation speaks for itself—he’s never lost an arson case, and continues to serve as a nationally respected instructor, consultant, and expert witness.
